HOW DO I GET THERE?
Let Go of the three Great Illusions
The body is in need of no defense.
W-135.7:1
It has no needs but those which you assign to it.
W-135.5:2

If you are spirit, then the body must be meaningless to your reality.

W-96.3:7

But we can change the purpose that the body will obey by changing
what we think that it is for.

W-pIIq5.3:5
The body does not exist except as a learning device for the mind. T-2.V.1:9
Holy Spirit interprets the body only as a means of communication. T-8.VII.2:1
Forgiveness lets the body be perceived as what it is; a simple teaching aid, W-192.4:3
...regard bodies solely as a means of joining minds and uniting them with
yours and mine. The ego separates through the body.
The Holy Spirit reaches through it to others.
T-8.VII.2:5,3,4

BODY

I am not a body. W-pI.rVI.in.3:3
The body is a limit. W-199.1:2.

The body is a dream.
The body will not stay.

W-pII.q5.3:1;2:1
The body cannot know. T-18.VIII.2:1
Its safety is its main concern. T-27.VIII.1:5
Its comfort is its guiding rule. T-27.VIII.1:6
The body was not made by love. T-18.VI.4:7
You are surrounded only by [God]. T-18.VI.10:6
[The body] is not [surrounding you]. T-18.VI.9:2
Minds are joined; bodies are not. T-18.VI.3:1

At no single instant does the body exist at all.

T-18.VII.3:1

YET
Bodies act, and minds do not.
To do anything involves the body.
The body is the symbol of what you think you are.
...it is not necessary to protect the mind by denying the [body].
The body is merely part of your experience in the physical world.
...it is almost impossible to deny [the body's] existence in this world.
This course does not attempt to take from you the little that you have.
Salvation does not ask that you behold the spirit and perceive the body not.
But we can change the purpose that the body will obey by changing what we think that it is for.
For you can see the body without help, but do not understand how to behold a world apart from it.
The Holy Spirit sees the body only as a means of communication, and because communicating is sharing
it becomes communion.

T-31.III.3:4; T-18.VII.7:1; T-6.V.A.2:2; T-2.IV.3:12,8,10;W-133.2:3;T-31.VI.3:1;
W-pII.5.3:5;T-31.VI.3:3; T-6.V.A.5:5

The miracle is much like the body in that both are learning aids
for facilitating a state in which they become unnecessary.

T-1.V.1:1
The Holy Spirit teaches you to use your body only to reach your brothers,
so He can teach His message through you.
T-8.VIII.9:1
